WATCH: Downtown Milledgeville gets a major splash of color

All 52 downtown Milledgeville planters recently received a new lease on life, thanks to an army of volunteers and business owners.

The planters became sort of neglected following the pandemic, far from their pre-COVID splendor. WMAZ recently was in town and explains how the project came together in the video immediately below..

The plan is to do it all again in mid October, all in time for Oct. 22's Deep Roots Festival.
