Eleven members strong, the new 2022-2023 Milledgeville MainStreet Junior Board of Directors is officially off and running.
"This Jr. Board will be introduced to event planning, entrepreneurship training, working one on one with our downtown merchants, increasing their high school volunteer service hours, and bringing both youthful and supportive ideas to downtown Milledgeville," wrote Executive Director Carlee Schulte. "We look forward to showcasing the work of these bright young minds throughout the upcoming year."
More than 40 friends, family and guests recently were on hand for the induction ceremony and reception. Each of the members "were required to submit applications, resumes and letters of recommendation in order to be chosen to represent the Junior Board."
