First Friday readying to rock out

Naturally, this Friday is "First Friday" in downtown Milledgeville.

Live music will be provided by Milledgeville’s own Scott Little and his band, "The Scott Little Band."

The band will play from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Hancock Street Plaza, located beside the crosswalk on the main drag of Hancock.

The Cookie Company will be back again selling their "gigantically delicious" cookies, while Skyla Yates will be on hand painting faces for the entire family. 

Also, there will be roughly a half-dozen local non-profit organizations set up with activities for children to participate in.

First Friday patrons are encouraged bring a chair, grab a meal and a drink from one of the over 12 downtown restaurants, then have a blast enjoying the live music by "The Scott Little Band."
