Milledgeville may just be home to a future agriculture magnate, Joetavious Havior, a sixth grader at Oak Hill Middle.
Havior first developed a passion for planting and harvesting from his grandfather, learning from the older generation. Havior, however, then took a new-generation approach to refining his craft, watching countless Youtube videos on planting and harvesting fruits and vegetables.
The Baldwin County School District's School & Community Relations department recently featured Havior, as well as Midway Hills Elementary STEAM teacher Stephanie Coxwell, in the video below...
Not only was Havior a member of Midway Hills' Junior Master Gardener program last year, he was also "teaching the teacher."
"Joetavious, for the rest of the school year, became our resident master gardener," Coxwell said. “(Joetavious) would also let us know what plants needed feed, when things were ready to pick, how to pick certain greens," said Coxwell.
Havior is now featuring some of his harvesting exploits on his own Youtube channel – "Joetavious Havior."

Patchy rain nearby, with a high of 98 and low of 79 degrees. Sunny during the morning, overcast in the afternoon, partly cloudy in the evening, clear overnight.
Everything sounded so lovely until the end.
“We tried”
If that’s not disheartening idk what is. I feel the need to quote my mom here. “I can’t have nothin nice”. Wiser words were never said.
Oh! And for gods sake STAY HYDRATED if you want to save on hospital bills. I hate summer.
