ELECTION NIGHT THREAD: Warnock vs. Walker

UPDATED 8:36 P.M.: Baldwin County went blue in the Senate runoff, although by the faintest of tints.The final vote tally here in Baldwin County was Warncock 7,007 and Walker 6,854, or 50.55 percent to 49.45 percent. Last month, Walker won Baldwin County in the general election by a tally of 7,416 votes to 7,327, or 49.58 percent to 48.99 percent, with the Libertarian candidate garnering 214 votes in Baldwin County and 1.43 percent of the vote.



UPDATED 8:11 P.M: Shonya Mapp wins the District 5 City Council special election runoff by a final tally of 381 to 280, or 57.64 percent to 42.36 percent.



UPDATED 7:42 P.M.: Walker continues to lead in the "Election Day vote" category by a margin of 2-to-1 in Baldwin County, with multiple precincts now reporting. Currently 50.69 percent in Baldwin for Warnock and 49.31 for Walker. Also, Shonya Mapp can now be projected as the winner in the District 5 City Council special election. 



a7:31 P.M.: Raphael Warnock wins the early vote in Baldwin County – 4,080 to 3,645. Warnock also wins the absentee vote – 604 to 283. With two precincts reporting, the "Election Day votes" are Walker 913 and Warnock 584. // On another note, one of the those reporting precincts is West Thomas, where Shonya Mapp is looking good to win a seat on the Milledgeville City Council, with 282 votes to Oscar Davis, Jr.s' 191.
