Tis the season for trash.
According to a study from Stanford University, just because there's a study for everything now, "Americans throw away 25% more trash during the Thanksgiving to New Year's holiday period than any other time of year."
So, what does that mean for trash collection and drop-off here in Baldwin County? Well, "Waste Management has stated there will be no delays for weekly cart pickup during the Christmas Holidays," according to the Baldwin County Board of Commissioners' Facebook page.
In terms of the convenience centers, all will close at 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve, which is a Saturday this year, and remain closed on Christmas.

Sunny, with a high of 49 and low of 27 degrees. Sunny during the morning, partly cloudy in the afternoon and evening, clear overnight.
Everything sounded so lovely until the end.
“We tried”
If that’s not disheartening idk what is. I feel the need to quote my mom here. “I can’t have nothin nice”. Wiser words were never said.
Oh! And for gods sake STAY HYDRATED if you want to save on hospital bills. I hate summer.
