A "water distribution center," the first of its kind in recent memory around here, has been set up and is now operational.
The location is the old Parham/Central Kitchen facility on the campus of Central State Hospital, located at 133 Shop Road. If you're coming from Milledgeville, take Swint Avenue all the way to its blinking light on campus, make a right at the light and then make a left onto Shop Road, after you pass the Powell Building, which should be on your left.
"Each household will receive one case containing 24 16.9 fl oz bottles," according to a city press release.
Customers also are encouraged to "follow the arrows" in the parking lot," per the image below.
