MILLEDGEVILLE BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT: Happy Times Party Rentals

Bounce houses were still something of a novelty when Happy Times Party Rentals first opened in Milledgeville back in 2006.

Now, all these years later, bounce houses and bounce house slides are sort of ubiquitous at weekend birthday parties around the country.

With the change in times comes changes in the ordering process. Happy Times, with its signature yellow pickup truck, still prefers to communicate with customers one-on-one, as opposed to customers going through an online sign-up form, oftentimes a long and cumbersome process, whether it's on Lake Oconee, Lake Tchukolako or all points in between.

Despite the cost of everything seemingly going up, including the cost of new bounce houses, Happy Times prides itself on remaining affordable with "Milledgeville prices," as opposed to "Lake Oconee prices."

Here's an example of some of Happy Times' off-season rates, which run during the winter and prior to the time change in March:

Standard bounce houses – $115 for all day Saturday or $135 for the weekend. Tax and delivery included.

Combo slides – $215 total for the day or $260 for the weekend. Tax and delivery included.

Giant slides – $215 total for the day or $260 for the weekend. Tax and delivery included.
