Around here, it's always been a highly sought-after factory job, and now the company is hiring.
Qarbon Aerospace's Milledgeville facility, located on Ga. 22 West past Walter B. Williams Park, is holding a job fair this Saturday at the plant. Numerous positions are available, and the pay starts out at $18 per hour.
Prospective employees must register online for the job fair, dubbed "Stroll In Saturday," which can be done by CLICKING HERE.
Qarbon's Milledgeville plant produces parts for a number of aircraft companies, including Boeing and Gulfstream. According to this article, "the Milledgeville plant was built in 1975 by Northrop Grumman...to build the F-14, F-111 and A-6 fighter/bomber jets and the E-2C and EA-6B electronic warfare planes for the U.S. Navy’s carrier strike force." Qarbon purchased the facility from the Triumph Group in 2021.
