Pair of Milledgeville men looking at serious prison time for separate child sex crimes

One was indicted here in Baldwin County and the other in Washington.

Both are looking at serious prison time.

William Mose Buckland, pictured above at left, was indicted by a Baldwin County grand jury earlier this month on two counts of child molestation and six counts of sexual exploitation of children.

Buckland is accused of performing a sexual act in front of a juvenile boy and also showing the same boy sexually explicit photos and videos featuring children.

The exact dates of the offenses weren't listed  by the District Attorney's Office, and the indictment listed the dates as "between the 12th day of March, 2022 and the second day of April, 2023."

Meanwhile, another Milledgeville man is facing a whopping 460 years in prison, according to WMAZ/Channel 13. Michael Dendy, pictured above at right, was indicted this week in Washington County.

According to the Channel 13 article, "Dendy is accused of enticing minors to engage in sexually explicit acts in order to film and photograph them. The indictment list 15 minors in the case, identified only by letters A-P. The alleged crimes begin in August 2020 and date up to his arrest in January 2023. He is charged with five counts of producing child pornography, seven counts of distributing, eight counts of receiving and one count of possessing child pornography."

Dendy taught school at Griffin High School until 2020, when he moved to Milledgeville and began teaching at Washington County High School.
