Several deputies were attempting to serve a warrant yesterday when they made a fairly grisly discovery in the backyard of a man's home on Second Street.
Numerous pit bull terriers were found "in kennels of varying sizes inside a closed outbuilding with no water or air circulation," as well as others in "single dog enclosures throughout the backyard," according to a Baldwin County Sheriff's Office press release.
"Deputies observed several of the dogs to have injuries, possibly related to dog fighting, and all with signs of severe neglect," added the press release
