Employees at chicken restaurant beef with each other

A 911 call came in around dinner time Tuesday from Huey Magoo's Chicken Tenders "in reference to 2 employees in the kitchen physically fighting."

A pair of officers responded to the restaurant and spoke with the victim, who said that he was sitting down and eating a salad when the other employee "struck him in the face." A fight ensued, and two other workers were required to break it up, according to an incident report. The disagreement began after the other employee became upset after he was told that "he was not wearing his Magoo's shirt" and needed to be wearing his work shirt.

A simple battery warrant eventually was issued for the other employee – Jadarrus Bernard McDowell. An officer ultimately made contact with McDowell, who told the officer that "he went to the location to handle business" with the other employee, who "had been talking (expletive)." McDowell admitted to hitting the victim, according to an incident report.

McDowell added that he planned to turn himself in.
