Two more games, two more blowouts.
Both John Milledge Academy and Georgia Military College Prep won big on Friday night, with the Trojans trouncing Brentwood 38-12 and the Dawgs downing Central-Talbotton 50-8.
The Trojans (1-0) traveled east to Sandersville and defeated their old rival for the eighth straight time. JMA Head Coach J.T. Wall is now 10-1 against the War Eagles. The Trojans have now won 25 straight games and haven't lost a regular-season game since 2017.
Replacing 23 seniors, which was the largest class in school history, JMA jumped out to a 24-0 halftime lead, thanks in part to the Eady brothers – Brinks and Briggs. The twins chewed up big yards on offense, while the JMA defense stymied Brentwood in the first half.
Over in west Georgia, meanwhile, GMC made quick work of Central-Talbotton. The Dawgs have now outscored their two opponents this season 96-20.
Overcast , with a high of 75 and low of 61 degrees. Overcast in the morning,
Everything sounded so lovely until the end.
“We tried”
If that’s not disheartening idk what is. I feel the need to quote my mom here. “I can’t have nothin nice”. Wiser words were never said.
Oh! And for gods sake STAY HYDRATED if you want to save on hospital bills. I hate summer.
Member when the river was fun and didn’t get angry and take lives? You could float down hopefully by sunset with only burnt skin that was a problem for later you? Member when your biggest fear were all the scary gar lingering about?
