Other hobbies included reading, boating, jigsaw puzzles, going on walks, and spending time with family and friends. Cherie thoroughly enjoyed her pet Holland Lop bunny Trixton. Always known as a master organizer, Cherie handled the details of the extensive remodel of their lake house. Most importantly, she loved being Grandma to her grandchildren!

Cherie enjoyed being an encourager, and she engaged in intercessory prayer for many! She taught children’s Sunday School, volunteered to teach music at Vacation Bible School, and was an elder for Church of the Hills which later became Johns Creek Presbyterian Church.
