Healthy Dawgs!
GMC's Health Services on Monday partnered with the Baldwin County Health Department to provide a flu vaccination clinic on the campus for our Prep school students, faculty, and staff and others. "With flu season approaching it is more important than ever to continue to encourage the annual flu vaccine as a measure of prevention," wrote the school. Health Services vaccinated 108 students (33 elementary, 75 middle and high school) and 58 employees (including 18 Prep faculty/staff). Overall, 166 were vaccinated on the main campus.
GMC kindergarten ROCKS
Maj. Baugh’s Kindergarten class recently got creative while learning about rocks. Each student brought a rock from home to explore and learn about different rock textures, sizes, colors and features. To end the unit, they decided to turn their rocks into pets and each student made a home for their pet rock. Today Maj. Baugh’s class invited each grade level to view the exhibit at their rock museum.
