Teachers recently celebrated the 50th day of school by taking things back to the 1950s.
Grammar Police? Try the Punctuation Police!
Ms. Griner’s second-grade class recently participated in a “Punctuation Police” classroom activity. They were in charge of reading a sentence, determining if the punctuation was correct or incorrect, and then rewriting the sentence with the correct punctuation. The students got to play the roles of officer, offender and judge. They had a blast determining the correct punctuation marks to use in sentences.
