^^^ Graveside Services Celebrating The Life of Ms. Lawana Rozier age 66 of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Una Memorial Gardens, Old Monticello Road Milledgeville, Georgia. Pastor Tony Fraley will officiate. Lawana entered into rest on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Navicent Health- Bibb in Macon, Georgia. She was preceded in death in death by her parents Herman and Cora Butts-Rozier and two brothers, Herman Rozier, Jr. and Clint Rozier.

Lawana was a lifelong member of Vaughn Chapel Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and reading. Her memory lives on with:

  • her two sisters, Geraldine Rozier and Laverne (Eddie) Driskell
  • devoted nephew, Omar (Shenerika) Rozier
  • one niece, Elantra Driskell,
  • great niece, Taja Woods-Rozier
  • great nephews, Jalen Rozier and Ja'Quez Rozier
  • one great - great nephew, Azar Washington
  • her lifelong companion, Julian Edwards 
  • and a host of other family and friends

Due to COVID-19 the family is requesting no visitors at this time. They appreciate your love and concerns for them and will acknowledge all in their own special way at a later date.

Funeral services will be held privately with family.

He is survived by his loving children, other family members and friends.

^^^ Alan Ray Stephens, age 75, passed away October 22, 2021 in Milledgeville, Georgia. Alan was born February 13, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio to Raymond J. and Olga Jean Stephens. He was raised in the suburb of Parma, Ohio. While residing there, he worked alongside his father in home improvement sales. In his spare time, Alan was an avid fisherman and fished Lake Erie, as well as numerous lakes in Canada. Having moved to Georgia in 1985, he lived to go fishing with his nephews on the rivers and lakes in Georgia. Alan also cared for and enjoyed having a garden. In his later years, he enjoyed reading about nature and listening to classic rock and roll and jazz.

He is survived by:

  • sisters Lynn S. Johnson of Tarpon Springs, FL; and Renee S. Whitfield (David) of Athens, GA, 
  • niece Ericka S. Miller of Tarpon Springs, FL
  • and nephews, David Whitfield, Jr. of Athens, GA, and Samuel Whitfield (Michelle) of Atlanta, GA. 

His family would like to thank all who helped care for him at Bostick Nursing Center these past few years, and those friends and family members who stayed connected with him through difficult times. A private memorial service will be held by his family.

^^^ Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda Elaine Wood Reynolds age 64 will be conducted Friday, October 29, 2021 at 2 P.M. in Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Drawdy officiating. Interment will follow in West View Cemetery.

 Mrs. Reynolds was the widow of the late Jimmy Reynolds and was a native of Sparta and had made her home in Milledgeville for most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Chapel. 

Survivors include:

  • her daughters, Martha Herrera Tapia of Milledgeville and Debbie Seguria of Eatonton
  • sons, Thomas Reynolds (Melissa) and Jimmy Reynolds of Sparta and James Reynolds of Eatonton
  • brother Joseph Mills of Milledgeville
  • 17 grandchildren 
  • and 2 great grandchildren also survive. 

In lieu of flowers the family request contributions in care of Williams Funeral Home & Crematory of Milledgeville.
