  • According to the school, "During the 2021 President’s Parade Friday afternoon, GMC Prep School new students in grades 6-12 received their Distinctive Unit Insignia, commonly called the 'unit crest.' Our crest formally welcomes new cadets into the ranks of GMC. Other students were pinned with the Legacy ribbon to wear on their uniform. This award is given to Prep Cadets who have had a Sibling, Parent, Grand Parent, Great Grand Parent, and/or Great-Great Grand Parent graduate from GMC Preparatory School. Parents, relatives, and friends were invited to pin these awards on their cadets.





"Also, during the parade recipients of the Distinguished Order of the Servant Leader award were recognized for completing over 100 hours of community service. Those who received their first award includes:

  • Jesse Booth
  • Daniel Rios-Pimental
  • Madison Mullis
  • Blair Seymour
  • Lily Dickey
  • and John Holmes

Students Izaiah Clinkscales, Emma Godin, and Kaylee Smith received their second Servant Leader award for completing at least 200 hours of community service. Finally, student Jocelyn Sanders received her seventh Servant Leader award for completing at least 700 hours of community service."
