Lockerly In Lights back for year 2

Lockerly In Lights, which became an instant holiday hit last year, is returning for the 2021 holiday season.

Lockerly employees and volunteers currently are hanging lights and gearing up for the first night – Saturday, Nov. 20. The driving tour takes visitors around the one-mile loop of the arboretum, all decked out for the holidays. More than 400 cars passed through during the first two Saturdays of the 2020 season, and this year is expected to be even larger.

This year's dates are Nov. 20, Nov. 27, Dec. 4, Dec. 11, and Dec. 18. 

"Enjoy the holidays at Lockerly Arboretum in a safe and socially distanced way," according to a press release.  "A family-friendly event, Lockerly in Lights allows guests to drive through a winter wonderland filled with shimmering lights and festive, holiday cheer."

Added the press release: "The cost is $10 per car. Check or cash only. Please, no vehicles over 10 passenger."
