100 years strong?
Congratulations definitely are in order.
The Baldwin Lodge 159 of Free and Accepted Masons was recognized with an official proclamation during the county commission's regular meeting earlier this week. Lodge 159 officially turned 100 years old of June 22 of this year.
For most of its existence, Lodge 159 operated out of "local churches" before putting down roots at 301 West Walton Street in 1984. J.L. Stevenson, the lodge's current Worshipful Master who doubles as a photographer, was on hand during the ceremony at the new annex, snapping photos of his brothers and county commissioners.
According to the final two paragraphs of the proclamation:

NOW, THEREFORE: WE, THE COMMISSIONERS OF BALDWIN COUNTY, GEORGIA, do herby commend Baldwin Lodge 159 of Free and Accepted Prince Hall Masons on its 100th Anniversary and look forward to its continued contributions in the community.
