•••••(Williams FH) Funeral services for Mrs. Peggy Josey Thigpen age 77 will be conducted Monday, December 27, 2021 at 11 A.M. in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Ralph Story officiating. 

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Building Fund, 265 Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Road, Gordon, GA 31031 

Mrs. Thigpen was a native of Washington County and had made her home in Baldwin County since 1969. She worked for J.P. Stevens and then for Childrens Friend. She was the daughter of the late Noah Josey and Eddie Mae Smith Josey and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. 

Survivors include:

  • her husband, Charles Thigpen of Coopers
  • daughters, Maria Burgamy (Greg), Sandy Smith (Gary) and Dawn Ward (Wesley) all of Milledgeville
  • a sister, Julia Mae Josey of Bartow
  • 8 grandchildren
  • 13 great grandchildren also survive

•••••(Williams FH) Mr. Greg White, 53, passed away on December 22, 2021. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 3PM in the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Milledgeville. 

The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-3PM. 

Mr. White was a native of Dodge County and grew up in Lumber City. He moved to Lake Sinclair 12 years ago and had been a sales associate with Jet Food Stores. He was preceded in death by a son, James White, and father, James Thomas White. 

He is survived by:

  • his children, Josh Helms, Valerie Helms, Kody White
  • mother, Joyce Elliott
  • sisters, Wanda Montgomery, Michelle Johnson
  • brother, Stevie White

•••••(M0ores FH) Barry Lane Daniels age 62, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 27th at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Tracy Daniels and Rev. Roger Browher Jr. officiating.

Mr. Daniels was born in Milledgeville, Georgia on November 24, 1959, to Delmer Jones Daniels and Bobbie Phillips Daniels. He grew up in Wilkinson County and was a graduate of Georgia College. He worked for Engelhard and BASF for over 41 years. Barry was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Barry loved hunting and fishing at the Altamaha River.

Survivors include:

  • his wife Cindy Daniels of Dublin
  • two daughters, Chelsea Daniels Johnson (Jeremiah) of Statesboro and Allison Daniels Winborn (Chuck) of Eastman
  • a brother, Tracy Daniels (Ellen) of Harrison, TN
  • three grandchildren, Knox Johnson and Bryce Johnson and Ashlynn Winborn, 
  • a number of nieces and nephews
  • his pet dog Bruiser

The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at the church.

.••••(M0ores FH) Beverly Ann Evans age 60, passed away December 21, 2021. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 6:30 on Thursday, December 23rd at Moores Funeral Home.

Mrs. Evans was born in Milledgeville, Georgia on March 19, 1961. She was a 1980 graduate of Baldwin High School. She worked for Russell Harding Insurance Agency. She was preceded in death by her mother Patricia Ann Adams Smith.

Survivors include: 

  • her husband Wayne Evans
  • a son Michael Evans (Brittney)
  • a daughter Christa Collins (Rhett), all of Milledgeville
  • granddaughter Sadie Kay Collins
  • grandson Reid Evans
  • her sister Dana Brett (Jamie) of Savannah
  • her uncle Dale Epps
  • her aunt Janet Green both of Milledgeville

..••••(M0ores FH) Sandra Eugenia Seals age, 77 passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 23rd at Coopers Cemetery.

Ms. Seals was born in Milledgeville, Georgia on September 5, 1944, to Golden Eugene Seals and Mary Etha Pierce Seals. She was preceded in death by a sister Eleanor DeLay.

Survivors include:

  • her daughter Becky Walton (Sam) of Joelton, TN
  • sister Clarice Bozardt of Eatonton
  • two nieces Natalie Owen and Angel Brown

.••••(Peoples FH) Services Celebrating The Life of Mrs. Addie Mae Finney, age 89, of Milledgeville, Georgia will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 11:00 am at The Chapel of All Faiths 252 Swint Avenue Milledgeville, Georgia. The interment will follow at Baldwin Memorial Gardens. Addie Mae entered into rest on Monday, December 20, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Linnes Finney, Sr., five brothers, William Morse, Carlton Morse, Sr., Joseph Morse, Sr., Adolphus Morse and Lincoln Morse.

Addie Mae was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1982. She was a graduate of L.S. Ingram High School in Sparta, Georgia where her brother Dr. Carlton Morse was the principal. Addie Mae matriculated at Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia to further her education. Later in life she gained employed at Central State Hospital as a supervisor and retired after twenty seven years of dedicated service.

She leaves to cherish her memory:

  • two daughters, Marilyn Knox (Sandy III), and Robena LaPointe (Robert) both of Milledgeville, Georgia
  • one son, Linnes Finney (Sonya') of Port St. Lucie, Florida
  • two sisters, Emma Abrams of Atlanta, Georgia and Buena Miles of Chester, Pennsylvania
  • sister in law, Ossie Morse of Chester, Pennsylvania
  • four grandchildren, Alexis Vone' Collazo (Adolphus), Candace Alexandria Knox, Chase Alexandria Finney and Clayton Linnes Finney
  • one great grandchild, Evan Araceli Collazo
  • a loving host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, other family and friends

.•••••(Williams FH) Funeral services for Mr. Robert "Ted" Hart, age 88 will be conducted Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 2 P.M. in the First Independent Methodist Church in Eatonton with Rev. Ron Smith officiating. 

Interment will follow in Eatonton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 P.M. until the service hour.

Mr. Hart was a native of Oklahoma and began pecan farming in Eatonton in 1986. He was retired as an electrical engineer for the Harris Corporation, a veteran of the U.S.Army and a member of the First Independent Methodist Church of Eatonton. 

Survivors include:

  • his wife, Helen Louise Phillips Hart of Eatonton
  • daughter, Juli Hart Ochs of Champlin, Minnesota
  • stepson, Rev. Ron Smith (Bronwyn) of Eatonton
  • grandchildren, Hunter Theodore Ochs and Grace Taylor Ochs
