Around middle Georgia, Dublin has the "Shamrock Drop."

Forsyth has the "Forsythia Drop."

Perry does the "Buzzard Drop."

Fort Valley celebrates with the "Peach Cobbler Drop."

Milledgeville, meanwhile, doesn't have any municipal-sponsored New Year's Eve events, and instead its a hodgepodge of restaurant/bar "bashes" and NYE parties around downtown.
