A man was fast asleep in his RV/camper Little River Park around 3 a.m. Thursday when "he heard some noise and then a bang."
He took a look outside, and what he saw next was a 2003 Mack truck parked in Lake Sinclair, with a chunk of one of Little River's docks taken out. The truck eventually was fished out of the water with a tow truck. No one was injured, and no one was inside of the truck at the time. Added the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office accident report: "The vehicle/truck-tractor trailer was unoccupied, parked, facing north in the parking lot."
The accident occurred right at the Baldwin/Putnam line and just down the hill from Taylor's Cove restaurant/old Jackson's/old Choby's.
