Georgia Department of Transportation contractor Reeves Construction Company will begin resurfacing Highway 212 in Baldwin County this week.

"Drivers along this route can expect single-lane closures, flagging and pilot car operations in the areas where crews are concentrated during the work day," wrote DOT Communications Specialist Gil Pound in a press release. "Wait for the pilot car when stopped, and give workers room to do their jobs safely when traveling through the work zone."

This $2 million road improvement project spans 10.7 miles from the Baldwin-Putnam County line to the 212 intersection with Highway 22, added the press release.
