Join us for a day of foraging at Andalusia Farm. The Home of Flannery O’Connor!
We will explore the fields and fence lines of Andalusia Farm in search of edible treasures (and maybe see a peafowl or 2!). We will end the morning at the pond with a light snack of jams, jellies and honey locally foraged by our facilitators served atop homemade bread and washed down with teas prepared from items we collect along the way!
Participants will leave with a greater understanding of local flora and resources detailing keys to successful plant and fungi identification. Participants should dress appropriately for the outdoors including comfortable walking shoes, bug spray and sunscreen.
Saturday, November 4th, $35.
*Program geared for adults. Call 478-445-5277 with any questions.

Sunny, with a high of 79 and low of 51 degrees. Sunny for the morning, clear in the afternoon and evening,
Everything sounded so lovely until the end.
“We tried”
If that’s not disheartening idk what is. I feel the need to quote my mom here. “I can’t have nothin nice”. Wiser words were never said.
Oh! And for gods sake STAY HYDRATED if you want to save on hospital bills. I hate summer.
Member when the river was fun and didn’t get angry and take lives? You could float down hopefully by sunset with only burnt skin that was a problem for later you? Member when your biggest fear were all the scary gar lingering about?
loving that suit! That hippie has style and wears it well.
