The man they called "Kool" – Brown "Kool" Marshall, Jr. – passed away last weekend. He was 92.
The graveside service is set for Friday afternoon at the St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church over in Hancock County at 1 o'clock.
Marshall worked seemingly forever at Georgia College and the Centennial Center. He loved his family, baseball and his job. He was highly respected by all of his co-workers and college kids around the Centennial Center.
Kool was genuinely one of the most charismatic and good-hearted people in Milledgeville. Numerous generations of Georgia College students, going way back, knew "Kool," and Kool never failed to strike up a conversation and make someone feel better about their day.
We just hope and pray that the family is hanging in there.
R.I.P., Kool, one of the best to ever do it!

Sunny, with a high of 84 and low of 60 degrees. Sunny during the morning, overcast during the afternoon, sunny in the evening, clear overnight.
So I'm curious as to what reasoning is behind this new water park. We did have a pool at Walter Williams and that was shut down and filled in because there wasn't enough money to get the pool up and running.
