A 21-year-old man was booked at the county jail last week on four charges, including felony forgery and "exploiting/inflicting pain to deprive essential services to disabled person or elder person."

Zackary Robert Kitchens was denied bond.

The victim, who is related to Kitchens, relayed to deputies that "Zack Kitchens stole his $2,640 disability check and cashed it at Exchange Bank without his permission."

The check was inside of the victim's vehicle, and Kitchens also is charged with entering auto. Another man also was at the bank with Kitchens when the check was cashed, according to the incident report, and the case remains active.
