Right when you think that society may run out of great inventions, here comes "Burger Week."

- What is Milledgeville Burger Week? Milledgeville Burger Week was created by Visit Milledgeville, the GA Beef Board and Milledgeville Main Street in partnership with locally owned restaurants to highlight the delicious culinary options we have in Milledgeville-Baldwin County.
- When is it? Milledgeville Burger Week will take place April 15-22, 2022
- How does it work? Each restaurant has hand selected a special burger served à la carte that week only for $7 (+ tax and gratuity). Patrons can order sides and extras separately. Many restaurants are offering special pricing that include a side and/or a drink, check individual listings for offers. Simply show up- no passes, tickets or coupons are required and enjoy.
In case you don't like reading Frequently Asked Questions or totally skipped over the last part, it's basically $7 for each participating burger, each day of the week between April 15-22. No passes are needed, and there's no registration ahead of time. There are some stipulations, however, which can be read under each of the burger pictures below.
At the end of Burger Week, the official "People's Choice Award Winner" burger will be crowned. Here are the dozen participants and what each one "brings to the table:"
The AMICI BUFFALO BURGER is two Angus beef patties with Amici wing sauce, bacon, blue cheese crumbles on a brioche bun. Patron's may add a side to the burger for a total of $11. Amici is open 7 days a week from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.
The BIG STELLA'S is a juicy, filling, mouthwatering beef burger grilled to perfection with a 4-cheese blend on a sourdough bun topped with bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and mushrooms.Burger is served a la carte, patrons may order a side separately. This offer is valid for to-go. MS. STELLA'S is open Tuesday - Friday from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m., and Saturday & Sunday from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
BOURBON BURGER is comprised of an 8 oz burger, grilled and garnished with lettuce, tomato, sauteed onions and portabella mushrooms, melted gorgonzola cheese and a bourbon glaze. Patron's can add steak fries for a total of $10.This offer is valid for to-go. THE REEL GRILL is open Tuesday - Saturday from 5 - 9 p.m.
The DYNAMITE BURGER is an 8oz. burger, grilled and garnished with lettuce, tomato, jalapeno pickles, melted pepper jack cheese, fried onion petals and topped with creamy sweet chili dynamite sauce. Patrons can add steak fries for a total of $10. This offer is valid for to-go. TAYLOR'S COVE is open Tuesday - Saturday from 5 - 9 p.m.
The FLYING HAWAIIAN serves up a 1/3lb patty, garlic teriyaki, grilled pineapple, and bacon on a sweet roll. Burger is served a la carte, patrons may order a side separately. BUFFINGTON'S is open 7 days a week from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.
KAFTA KABAB BURGER is a regular beef burger infused with Greek spices, oregano, garlic, onions, pepper and feta cheese, topped with a delicious mint sauce. Served with gyro meat and tatziki sauce. Patrons can add fries for a total of $10. This offer is valid for to-go. METROPOLIS is open daily from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.
SHIMA BURGER is an all beef patty topped with house made slaw and spicy mayo, on a toasted sesame bun. Burger is served a la carte, patrons may order a side separately. SHIMA IN MILLY is open Monday - Saturday from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
LEGEND'S' JUICY STEAK BURGER is dripping with seafood Mac. Patrons can add fries for a total of $10. This offer is valid for to-go. Legend's Seafood & Grill is open Wednesday - Saturday from 11 am - 10 pm, and Sunday from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Bite into a SUNRISE BURGER, a 7oz angus chuck burger topped with bacon, egg, cheese, lettuce and tomato. Patrons can add fries and a drink for a total of $10. This offer is valid for to-go. VELVET ELVIS is open Tuesday - Sunday from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Bacon, pepper-jack cheese, jalapeno, grilled onion all piled on a fresh bun make up the BIG BEN BURGER. Patrons can add fries and a drink for a total of $8.99. This offer is valid for to-go. WINGS, RINGS & THINGS is open Tuesday - Thursday from 11 am - 8 pm, Friday and Saturday from 11 am - 9 pm, and Sunday from noon - 8 p.m.
THE LUIGI is an Angus beef patty on a bed of Italian slaw, topped with a caramelized bacon, onion jam, and a pepperoni cheese crisp. Burger is served a la carte, patrons may order a side separately. THE BRICK is open daily from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
THE NED starts off with a 6oz. hand-pattied angus beef patty with pepper jack cheese, crispy bacon, and their homemade mac-n-cheese. Topped with lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions and served with a side of either seasoned crinkle fries or homemade beer battered onion rings. Patrons can get the burger, fries AND drink all for $7. This offer is valid for to-go. NED KELLEY'S is open Tuesday - Saturday from 5 - 9 p.m.
